COVID-19 Update May 20th
As of this week, we have been given clearance by the governor to resume treating all our patients, regardless of the acuity of their concern. In other words, we can return to seeing patients for elective and cosmetic surgery!
We will continue to adapt our clinic to maximize your safety. We are screening all those who enter our building for symptoms of infection. Our appointments have been lengthened and spaced apart to minimize contact between our patients. We ask that you arrive to our clinic accompanied by only those who must be present for you to receive care. Upon arriving for your appointment, we will make every effort to bring you back to an exam room to limit the time you spend in our reception area. Our rooms are thoroughly cleaned between appointments, and our entire staff will be using PPE. We will formulate a plan for your care and do everything possible to minimize your need to leave home without compromising your care.
We are also continuing to offer telephone and virtual visits. For new patients with questions about elective surgery, this is an excellent way to meet our team and have your surgery questions answered while respecting stay-at-home orders. If we decide to move forward with surgery, we’ll schedule not only a date for that surgery but also an appointment for you to meet us in person beforehand for a formal exam and to review everything you need to know leading up to your surgery.
Our top priority has always been, and will continue to be, caring for our patients in a safe, effective manner. How this translates into our daily practice has significantly changed over the past two months, but our commitment to our patients has not. We all love what we do, and we are so excited to see you back soon!
If you have questions or are interested in a virtual consult, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via phone (425-316-5080) or MyChart.
