COVID-19 Update November 25th, 2020
As we prepare for a busy end to the year, we’re monitoring the covid situation in our community and at our hospital on a daily basis. As we have since July 1st, we’re welcoming all patients to our clinic for consultation but will continue to adapt our clinic to maximize your safety. We are screening all those who enter our building for symptoms of infection. Our appointments have been lengthened and spaced apart to minimize contact between our patients. We ask that you arrive to our clinic accompanied by only those who must be present for you to receive care. Upon arriving for your appointment, we will make every effort to bring you back to an exam room to limit the time you spend in our reception area. Our rooms are thoroughly cleaned between appointments, and our entire staff will be using PPE. We will formulate a plan for your care and do everything possible to minimize your need to leave home without compromising your care.
We are also continuing to offer telephone and virtual visits. For new patients with questions about elective surgery, this is an excellent way to meet our team and have your surgery questions answered from the comfort and safety of your own home! If we decide to move forward with surgery, we’ll schedule a date for that surgery and also an appointment for you to meet us in person beforehand for a formal exam and to review everything you need to know leading up to your surgery.
Our top priority has always been, and will continue to be, caring for our patients in a safe, effective manner. How this translates into our daily practice has significantly changed over the course of this year, but our commitment to our patients has not. We all love what we do, and we are excited to continue to care for our patients in spite of the challenges this year has brought!
If you have questions or are interested in a virtual consult, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via phone (425-316-5080) or MyChart.
