Other Facial Surgery Patient 11
This patient presented to Dr. Bhama with a chief complaint of protruding ears. On preoperative photos, noticed the protruding ears on both sides with the widened auricular mastoid distance. Also noticed attenuation of the antihelical folds. Options were discussed and the patient and her family elected for bilateral otoplasty. Dr. Bhama performed otoplasty using multiple techniques, including skin excision, cartilage scoring, and Mustarde sutures. Early postoperative photos are shown demonstrating a dramatic improvement in her auricular appearance and stronger antihelical folds bilaterally. She was very happy with the result.
